Friday was our first overnight away from Carson. Needless to say, I was a little nervous, but I felt okay at the same time. I knew I would be busy, and he would be asleep before I would get him anyways. Plus, I knew Grammy and Grampy would take good care of him and they would all have a good time. I was getting an award with 39 other State Farm team members for our production last year. It was quite an honor, and I was excited to be there. We went to Harrah's casino in Kansas City, MO, so it wasn't very far. We had dinner and the awards then went to a bar and hung out with other State Farm people. Cj and I had a good time. However, I was ready to see my baby in the morning!!

ReplyDeleteWe DID have a good time with Carson. The only negative thing was he doesn't seem to like our bathtub. So that didn't work well, but other than that, our plastic bowls and spoons were a hit!! He ate a great dinner, slept all night, and ate a good breakfast. Once he saw Mommy, he was DONE with the rest of us.
